2010 ITV Fixers Exhibition, West Bromwich. I was selected for an exhibition in West Bromwich, in The Public gallery. I was responsible for hanging my own work, and helped hanging others, who couldn’t make it. The open evening had a great turn out, it was a very successful exhibition.

2009 ‘Hans Brinker Budget Trophy’, Amsterdam. I was selected as part of a group of five, from a class of 70 to take part in an annual international exhibition in Amsterdam. I learnt how to work with other artists I have never met, negotiate space and make the work look as good as possible in spaces provided. I was a brilliant experience and I was glad to be chosen. Over 500 people attended on the open night alone and I got to meet potential buyers and people who voted for my work.

2009 Drawing exhibition, Millennium Gallery, University of Wolverhampton. An end of year exhibition the whole class put up. I designed the poster for the exhibition and helped plan where everyone’s work would look best.

2009 ‘Periphery’, The White Tree Gallery. A fellow student and I decided to work together to exhibit outside of university in an up and coming gallery in Wolverhampton, the White Tree Gallery. I was responsible for the press release, advertising, hanging my own work, negotiating with the gallery owners. I picked up a lot of skills holding this exhibition, such as, booking an exhibition space, planning my time in order to have a successful show, creating a guest list with valuable people and dealing with issues in hanging work and planning the space in order for the work to look its best.

2009 ‘Miscellaneous’, University of Wolverhampton. A group exhibition in the student union space we turned into a gallery space. I learnt how to curate and planned out where the works would go. Again I was responsible for advertising, and invigilating the exhibition. As a group we put on a successful show, helping each other put up the work and sharing the responsibilities.

2009 ‘Diversity’ , University of Wolverhampton. A group of women artists were chosen to exhibit for International Women’s day. I organised to use and the empty Student Union room, which we decorated and turned into a gallery space. I was responsible for creating a poster and flyers and advertising the exhibition. I invigilated for two days.
